Is there parking available?
Yes. Multiple car parks near the seafront. The main harbor car park has accessible spaces and is close to the pier entrance.
Can I take the bus?
Absolutely. Several bus routes serve Dún Laoghaire seafront. Check local transport for current schedules.
Are the paths well-lit at night?
The promenade is well-lit. However, we recommend daytime walks for the best experience and safety.
What should I bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket (coastal winds!), water bottle, and sun protection. We've got benches throughout if you need to rest.
What's the best time of year?
Spring and early summer are lovely. Autumn brings fewer crowds. Winter's quieter but can be windy. We're open year-round.
How long does a walk take?
Depends on your route. Short promenade walks: 20-30 minutes. Full pier walks: 45-60 minutes. You set the pace.
